Developing National Social Enterprise Ecosystems: Cases of Brazil & TurkeyThe Social Enterprise Scaling Up Community of Practice (CoP) and the Social Entrepreneurship CoP in Turkey are pleased to share with you a virtual discussion that happened on May 20th, 2021 to explore policies and interventions to strengthen national Social Enterprise ecosystems looking at the cases from Brazil and Turkey.
The case from Brazil was presented by the Brazilian Alliance for Impact Investment and Impact Businesses which has been supporting the growth of the Social Enterprise Sector in Brazil since 2014 significantly building capacity and increasing access to funding for Social Enterprises through impact investment initiatives. The case from Turkey was presented by the Social Entrepreneurship Community of Practice in Turkey, a World Bank initiative under a EU-funded project to support economic opportunities for Syrian under temporary protection refugees in Turkey.
